CMM-310-A DV studio 1 Instafilm

Framing:

This assignment, named the “Instafilm”, was a short film made, produced, and edited by me, with the help of two of my friends as actors. It shows someone walking in the woods, with a mystery slowly unveiling itself through the story. I selected both this class and this assignment because I believe it shows a large portion of my creative mind. With the assignment, I created the entire idea in my head and wrote it out, then executed it. This shows my initiative to create projects like this, and my ability to work along side people to create them. It also shows off my creative intent, and the way in which I personally create and think about the world. Considering film is one of my favorite interests, being able to create them is a dream come true, and DV Studio has allowed me to do just that. I believe that this assignment shows how I have grown from an amateur at home video like maker to at least College level short films being possible. It shows my potential for movie directing and making if I put my mind to it.
